A range of frequencies, frequently.

Since we arrived at Waitakere Gardens, we have been treated to a number of musical events. Here are a few of what we've seen. (and heard)

LVIS looks tired.

This next group was very lively.  It collected quite a crowd.

It's the Grey Lynn Youth Band!

Definitely more participation from the folks than at the LVIS concert.

Wednesday nights, excerpts from concerts are shown in the events room. This is a shot of one that was shown recently. It was the Strasbourg Orchestra. Last night I saw the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.

This is the Salvation Army Band.

  1. I am sure the Elvis concert may not have been the best of the group. However, it was probably the most memorable. That lovely atrium looks like the best place to enjoy the variety of music. I would love enjoying it from above. I loved the flowers as your header photo. McKenzie

    1. Yes, lots of people enjoy it from above so they can easily leave when they want to. Thanks for the comment.

  2. How lovely that you get to enjoy live music practically from your front door! I also thought LVIS looked tired - maybe worn out from his costume change?

I think it's wonderful that the Grey Lynn Youth and Salvation Army bands came out to provide some indoor entertainment during your winter so you could all stay warm and comfortable. Wonder if you'll have some outdoor concerts in spring and summer? Which speaking of spring & summer looks to be right around the corner for you by the looks of that magnificent magnolia in your header.

    1. Yes, I think it is definitely looking lighter all the time. We're moving in the right direction.
