Well and aptly named

I think that our new home, Waitakere Gardens, is well and aptly named.

There is the big circular garden that greets you when you come in the main entrance.

Then, there are all the flowers bordering the Atrium and all manner of gardens extending down the hill above the stream.

Today, Jeanne and I discovered yet another garden between the buildings that we hadn't seen before. This one is a dandy. Let me show it to you.

Today, the temperature is in the mid-eighties, (Fahrenheit) but it's much cooler under here.

Then, we passed under the skywalk and discovered further areas that were camera-worthy.

Closer yet. Same time and night as the header.             -djf

    1. We are very fortunate. And to top it all off, Allie and the boys came for swimming and dinner last night...
Roast lamb, delivered to our door, complete with mint sauce.

  4. Wow! I can only imagine how delightful and refreshing all these gardens are for the body, soul and mind! When I'm able to travel again, I think I'll be sitting right there with Jeanne in that beautiful little niche!
